Prerequisite for Attendance: You will have needed to complete the 5-Part PMT Apprenticeship Series. No advanced knowledge of the Tarot is necessary.
About the Workshop: The Tarot is an ancient form of divination that has been used by many cultures, most specifically the Western Mystery Tradition. However, there are many curandero/as that work the Tarot along with the mesas in Peru. In this class we will learn the basics of the Tarot, meditative and divination practices, and incorporating them into your mesa practice.
What to Bring:
Your basic Pachakuti Mesa altar and associated artes of the five directions from the 5-part Apprenticeship series: Pachamama, MamaKilla, Wiracocha, Inti, and K'yuchi. If you would like to bring any extra artes that is fine, but please be mindful of limited spacing and timing for set-up. Please bring your own consecration materials.
A Tarot deck. If you do not already have one, I would recommend the Rider-Waite tarot, which is the most basic deck. Please do not bring oracle decks or other divination cards: it must be Tarot.
Special seating for inside Lodge (if required) and sacred sound makers.
Dish for potluck lunch.
